Manitoba Wildlands is an independent non-profit environmental organization working with communities, environmental organizations, and industry groups in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and Canada.

A wide range of issues about public lands and waters drives our community based environmental work. These include: climate change, protected areas establishment, biodiversity and species protection, lands and waters decisions, planning before development decisions, and fulfillment of government commitments for our lands and waters. We especially work towards appropriate processes for environmental decisions, be they consultations, public reviews, or hearings.

Manitoba and Canada's boreal forest regions present a challenge in our work, especially for establishment of significant, large protected areas. Conservation and community based lands planning and stewardship of our boreal regions are of regional, national, and global significance in the face of climate change.

Please consider making a donation to support our work. Please make your cheque to Manitoba Wildlands, and send to the address below. (Like about half of Canada's environmental organizations, we cannot offer you a tax receipt. You donation will be kept confidential.)
