Representatives from The World Council of Churches, in North America, met recently in Calgary, Alberta. Their gathering was a consultation on Poverty, Wealth & Ecology. Issues of poverty, greed, increased concentration of wealth, climate change, and transition to low carbon societies brought the representatives together. They also acknowledged the news ways of resistance which young people are teaching the world.The Council of Churches representatives issued a Call, which Manitoba Wildlands is posting below.
