Q28A Will your government commit funds to support the First Nations-led process to achieve World Heritage Site status for 4 million ha of lands and waters in eastern Manitoba and northwestern Ontario?

Liberal Yes, provided there is an adequate means of guaranteeing stewardship and enforcement of all the protective measures that come with World Heritage Status. This is a very large and sparsely populated area that is challenging to monitor and study.
